Join STEMWorks
No experience required, and there is no application. You join STEMWorks as a whole, and one $50 club fee gives you access to all five teams. Fill out the interest form, come to a meeting in Room 140A, and work on whatever interests you.
Do I need experience?
No. Most members join knowing nothing about the build, and the team teaches them.
Can I be on more than one team?
Yes. You join STEMWorks, not a single team, and the $50 fee covers all five. Talk to the captains about how much time each season takes.
Does it cost anything?
Membership is a $50 club fee for the year, and it covers all five teams. Materials and entry fees are covered by sponsorship and fundraising. Ask a faculty sponsor if cost is a concern.
When can I join?
Any time. Teams are busiest during their competition season, but new members are taken all year.
